I just read Steve Friedland’s column describing his excitement in experiencing wonderful legal teaching. What struck me was how he describes the great results that can be achieved from variety of teaching styles.

During the “best law teachers” conference, different lecturers combined different learning techniques in their presentations… and all were wonderful learning experiences.

Just imagine, here is one of the best law teachers in the USA, getting excited how other law teachers teach. What is the magic? Surely, there is no single best recipe for teaching law. But however one teaches, it should be based on an understanding of the learning process.
